I am a security leader & strategist with hands on experience ranging from policy to the pavement. Over the past 15+ years I've tackled the challenges of securing complex technical systems in the constantly changing world of live events. Through my operational leadership my teams have secured $20M+ in credential assets annually and created the technical framework for a safe experience for 100,000+ attendees.
My foundational experience in technical production and customer support still serve me now. I lead our event access control technology team, with oversight of 100+ locations and 10+ direct reports. I authored our corporate security strategy based on the NIST CSF 2.0 framework. With my leadership our international software development team captures opportunities within the hard deadlines of live events. Working with our safety and physical security teams, my forensic reports have been used in successful law enforcement actions. I am proud to be a speaker at DEF CON 33.
I am always seeking to learn about new and complex systems and explore their information security challenges. Human, hardware, software: I love them all. As a leader, strategist, and system designer, the more messy the problem space, the more exciting the potential solutions. I am constantly looking to challenge myself and apply me expertise in new ways.
